You have the option of collecting statistical data for your project. This can be useful if you want to identify your target audience that watch your scene.
Analytics is enabled by default. To make sure it is on, you need to go into your project settings by clicking the button in the top bar.
The modal window opens. Click the Advanced tab.
The toggle Allow to collect statistics about visitors must be set to ON (TRUE).
When you made sure the analytical data collection is enabled, you can go to the statistics page. To do this, you need to go into the Dashboard and click Analytics in the left sidebar.
This is an analytics page of your account.
Here you can see general statistics for your projects.
The page is divided into two blocks:
Profile
Project details
The profile block contains information about your account: your name, email and your pricing plan.
The project details block contains full statistical information.
Here you can see such data as:
Number of all projects,
Number of multimarker projects,
Number of published projects,
Number of times QR codes are scanned for all projects,
List of projects. It includes project name, project analytics link and total number of code scans).
Below the Projects list you can see:
Number of scans from a particular URL;
The total number of scans for all projects in a certain period of time;
The average time (in minutes) a user spends in all projects.
Below graphs, there is a map showing the users’ location.
There are also four graphs under the map showing scanning by:
The country,
The browser used,
Device type,
The operating system of the device.
That is all about general analytics.
To see the statistics of a specific project, go to the project details block.
Click on the Project Analytics Link and choose a project you need.
As an example, let’s consider the statistics of the MyWebAR project.
Analytics page is divided into three blocks:
In this block, you can change the project by clicking on the Project URL button.
In this block you can select the time period for which you want to output the statistics.
You can select absolute time ranges by filling From/To blocks as well as relative time ranges by clicking the time period you need (e.g. last 1 hour).
This is how the statistics itself looks like. Let’s condider it in more detail
As with general analytics, there are many different data blocks (from left to right):
Project information (link, profile, creation and update date),
Number of scans for the project,
Child pages (for books only),
Objects added to the project,Ñ‚,
Number of objects in the scene,
Number of scans from a particular URL.
Below, you can see similar graphs as in the chapter about General project analytics
This graph shows how many users viewed your project on a certain day.
The graph is interactive. You can point the cursor to any point and see more precise data.
Click the View button to open the data in full screen.
When you click the Share button, a modal window opens.
You have an opportunity to share. You can do it both using a link and the HTML <iframe> tag. It can be used to embed the graph in your website.
When you click Inspect, the bar on the right side of the screen will appear. It shows the detailed description of all data. It is also possible to export them as .csv.
Average time on project page
This graph shows the average amount of time users spend viewing your project. The time is shown in minutes.
Work with this graph the same as with the graph above (sum of project scans).
The map shows the location of the audience that watch your project.
The bigger the circle, the more users there are in the area.
Point the cursor to the circle and see the exact number of users and their location.
The map is also interactive. You can drag to move the map and zoom in and out. For that, click +/- at the top left corner of the screen.
In this table, the data is detailed by country and city, with the number of views and the average time in minutes.
Here you can see which country and city the user is from, the total number of views for that city, as well as the average time the user spends watching augmented reality.
Below this table, there are some data blocks.
Number of user views who use Android devices.
Number of user views who use iOS devices.
Scans by Country
Scans by Browser
Scans by Device
Scans by OS
By clicking on the , icon, you can share the link to the analytics or export the data.
Clicking the button will decrease the time range (increase the time span).
If you click the button, the data will be updated. If you click on the drop-down list, you can set the analytics data to update automatically.
The button is responsible for the viewing mode (full screen, with control panels, etc.).
When you click on the button next to the title (or on the title itself), a drop-down list will appear.
